Section 100 (Barsamian) Exam 3 Information
- Exam is on Friday, October 30, 2015 in Grover W115.
- You will need your OU student ID.
- No calculators, no books, no notes, no cell phones.
- The exam starts after 11:50am, as soon as all your stuff is put away
- The exam ends at 12:45pm, no exceptions
- The exam covers Chapter 4 Sections 1,2,5,6
- More information about the exam will be posted here closer to the exam date.
- exam is 5 problems, on 4 pages, printed on front & back of 2 sheets of paper
- a problem intervals of increase & decrease and local max/min (concepts from Section 4.1)
- a problem intervals of concavity and inflection points (concepts from Section 4.2)
- a problem about absolute max/min on a closed interval (concepts from Section 4.5)
- a problem about absolute max/min on an interval that is not closed (concepts from section 4.5)
- an optimization problem (concepts from section 4.6)
- Note: All exam problems are based on the list of suggested exercises from the textbook and class drills.
- Note: On all problems, you should show all steps of the solution and use correct notation. (Remember that in this course, the objective is to not only get correct answers, but also present clear solutions to the problems.)
