Common Questions

Frequently asked questions about our lab and research:

Our lab focuses on various aspects of physiology, conducting research that contributes to our understanding of biological systems. We publish our findings in reputable journals and aim to contribute significantly to the scientific community. This research includes both comparative physiology to understand how non-human animals adapt their physiology to meet the demands of their particular environment, and human-focused physiology related to health, metabolism, and performance.

Students interested in graduate school are encouraged to contact me directly at traywright@ohio.edu and can apply through the university’s departmental website. We encourage interested candidates to submit their CV and a brief statement outlining their research interests. We value passion and curiosity along with attention to detail and ethical inquiry.

We offer various research opportunities for interns, undergraduate students, and graduate students. These opportunities allow hands-on experience in the lab and the chance to work alongside experienced researchers in ongoing projects.
