Research Team
Our lab is young and growing, with opportunities to explore various aspects of metabolism, muscle, physiology, and performance. Here, we emphasize collaboration and innovation, working together towards impactful discoveries.

Traver (Tray) Wright, PhD
Primary Investigator - CAMP Lab
Assistant Professor, Ohio University
The primary focus of my research explores how animal metabolism and performance are shaped by ecological acclimation, health & disease, and evolutionary adaptation. Integrative studies in both human and non-human animal models include collaborative multidisciplinary research that span broad biological fields and levels of organization from cellular metabolism to ecology.

Maddi Najeway
Undergraduate Student Researcher
Madison Najeway is a junior studying biological sciences: marine freshwater and environmental biology. She is interested in learning more about TBI research. In the future she is interested in applying to vet school and exploring more of animal wildlife medicine. In her free time, she loves to go hiking, skiing, and climbing.

Todd Wilson
Undergraduate Student Researcher
Todd Wilson is a senior studying biological sciences: marine, freshwater and environmental biology. His interests center around conservation, biodiversity and sustainability, especially as it pertains to the ocean and marine life. He would like to participate in field projects that focus on these interests while educating other students and the public about the negative and positive impacts they can have on the environment. In his free time he enjoys hiking, scuba, astronomy and tennis.
