Friendly, hands-on exhibit featuring yearbooks, photographs, and posters on the 5th floor of Alden Library.

This week the Ohio University Libraries’ Mahn Center for Archives and Special Collections is pitching in to help OHIO celebrate the 50-year anniversary of the founding of Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College.

Flyer for “Black Films of the 60s & 70s” course.

All throughout the week of August 22 through August 27, the 5th floor lobby of Alden Library is featuring a friendly hands-on display of OHIO student life, work, and culture with historic yearbooks, photographs, sports memorabilia, events programs, and posters.

Exhibit cases with newspaper articles and documents about the history of the Honors Tutorial College.

Additionally, special tables and exhibit cases in the display highlight the history and evolution of the Honors Tutorial College and the accomplishments of some of its students.

Posters from the OHIO University Archives

The display is open to all visitors from 8AM to 8PM Monday through Friday, and 10AM through 7PM on Saturday. If you aren’t able to visit in person or want to know more, visit the OHIO Honors Tutorial College Pinterest board created by the Libraries and to view and/or download thousands more historic University materials, check out the University Digital Archives.
