Submissions for sphere 69 are Now Closed*.
Sphere accepts poetry, fiction, art, and creative nonfiction submissions. Writers are allowed to submit up to five pieces per genre. Literary submissions are now closed. *However, if you missed the opportunity to send in your work, please email your fiction/nonfiction/poetry to the Managing Editor at lw923320@ohio.edu until January. You may send her your art submissions until February 14th.
Art:
- Please submit a photograph of your submission along with an artist’s statement (maximum of 250 words).
- We accept art from any medium that is able to be reproduced in a printed journal.
Fill out the following Google Form for each piece you wish to submit:
Fiction:
- 12-point font, double-spaced, with numbered pages
- Maximum of 4,000 words
- We welcome literary fiction submissions that incorporate experimental or genre elements, but we generally do not publish pure genre fiction (sci-fi, horror, fantasy, etc.).
Creative Nonfiction:
- 12-point font, double-spaced, with numbered pages
- Maximum of 4,000 words
- We accept memoirs and personal essays.
Poetry:
- 12-point font, double-spaced, with numbered pages
- Maximum of 250 lines
- We accept poems of any style or genre
