Submissions for sphere 68 are Closed

Sphere is accepting poetry, fiction, art and creative nonfiction submissions for its 2024 edition. Writers are allowed to submit up to five pieces per genre. Literary submissions are closed. Art submissions will be open through February 2nd.

Art:

• Please submit a photograph of your submission along with an artist’s statement.
• Maximum of 250 words (artist’s statement)
• We accept art from any medium that is able to be reproduced in a printed journal.

Fill out the following Google Form for each piece you wish to submit:

Fiction:

• 12-point font, double-spaced, with numbered pages 
• Maximum of 4,000 words
• We welcome literary fiction submissions that incorporate experimental or genre elements, but we generally do not publish pure genre fiction (sci-fi, horror, fantasy, etc.). 

Creative Nonfiction:

• 12-point font, double-spaced, with numbered pages 
• Maximum of 4,000 words
• We accept memoirs and personal essays.

Poetry:

• 12-point font, double-spaced, with numbered pages 
• Maximum of 250 lines
• We accept poems of any style or genre
