I am an avian ecologist with broad interest in understanding how birds use habitats within the landscape and how habitat use and environmental conditions affect the full annual ecology of birds.

I am a Master’s student in the Department of Biological Sciences at Ohio University. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Conservation Biology at Ohio University in 2020. After I graduated in 2020, I worked in wildlife rehabilitation as a wildlife care attendant for two years. My work currently focuses on avian movement ecology and habitat use of Slate-colored Juncos using radiotelemetry. Upon earning my Master’s degree, I intend to use radiotelemetry to investigate the survival and success of post-rehabilitated birds and advance conservation efforts and efficacy in the frontlines of avian conservation.
