Question of the Day:
A 63-year-old man
complains of leg pain that occurs after walking a couple of blocks, forcing
him to stop. After resting a few minutes, the pain dissipates, but returns
after walking another couple of blocks. The physician orders a series of
tests that ultimately support the general diagnosis of peripheral arterial
disease. Explain these findings.
